🧠 AI Term of The Week: LLM

LLM = Large Language Model — is like a really smart computer program that has read a massive (huge) amount of text (like the entire internet). Because it has seen so many words and sentences, it has learned how to understand and generate text that sounds like it was written by a human.

Examples of LLMs:
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek….all of ‘em.

Imagine a student who has read almost every book, article, and website ever written. They would probably be pretty good at understanding what you're saying and writing thoughtful responses, right? An LLM is similar, but instead of reading, it analyzes text data to learn patterns and relationships between words. This allows it to do things like:

• Answer your questions in a comprehensive way.

• Write different kinds of creative content, like poems, code, scripts, musical pieces, email, letters, etc.

• Translate languages.

• Summarize long pieces of text.

• Have conversations with you in a chatbot.

ElevenLabs just released a very cool new AI product that enables you to create custom soundboards with as many sound effect buttons you can dream up.

You can upload your own sound effects, use pre-made soundboard sounds (Rain, birds, drums, explosions, etc) or enter a text prompt and generate your own effects.

Instead of searching music libraries for that ‘perfect sound effect’, just type in what you want and bingo…then just save it to your own custom soundboard.
